St. Peter welcomes the Reverend Mary C. Fleming

Posted: August 7, 2020 |

On July 1, 2020 we welcomed our new Rector, the Reverend Mary C. Fleming.

Mary returns to parish work directly from her previous role as a Psycho-Spiritual Practitioner and Registered Psychotherapist at Hamilton Health Sciences, St. Peter’s Hospital. Prior to her chaplaincy work, she ministered in many Anglican parishes in the Hamilton-Niagara area, and held positions at Mission Services Hamilton and Samaritan’s Purse.

Mary looks forward to developing new inner city ministries with parishioners, and considers St. Peter by the Park very well-positioned to reach out to the community with the strong, saving love of Jesus Christ.

Mary is a musician, and also enjoys creating travel experiences for groups and individuals, especially to Israel. She has three grown children.

GriefShare Tuesdays 7 PM on Zoom

Posted: August 7, 2020 |

We care about ministering to the bereaved in our community at Saint Peter by the Park.

Whether you have lost a close family member or a friend, grief affects us all. But no one needs to go through the experience of loss alone. With mutual support and a biblical perspective, we’ll travel through 13 weeks of GriefShare together, and find hope for living.

Sessions will be on Zoom, beginning Tuesday September 22 at 7:00 p.m. and ending December 15, 2020. You are welcome to join us at any point. A spring session will begin mid-February, 2021.

Please visit www.griefshare.org to find our group and register online. Or contact us anytime to express your interest.
